Hi, i have a problem with high fuel pressure pump on my Mondeo Mk4 2.0 tdci 140hp automatic. The dealer told me that the pressure needs to be somewhere between 280 and 320 psi but my pump is making 420 psi. They checked everything injectors, new pump, all sensors and etc. but still everything seems fine.

The fuel injectors of the 1.6 TDCI are very delicate/sensitive. Once removed these fuel injectors must be kept filled with either diesel fuel or calibration oil and preferably be stored in an airtight container. This prevents the internal components of the fuel injectors being affected by both oxigen and humidity inside the ambient air.
