The reason why so many owners (and potential owners) will continue to buy this vehicle is durability, reliability and, if they should decide to eventually trade-in, excellent and unbeatable resale value. 2014 represents another milestone in Hilux history; in fact, 45 years of history. Not quite as old as CAR magazine, but close enough!

D4D engine makes all the noises described thus far and doesn't miss a beat. I contacted the former owner who said it had been like it from new. With nigh on 220,000 miles under its treads and with a full Toyota history, I'm looking forward to a clattery but hopefully reliable time with 'Clyde!'
